With large-scale gold and copper deposits in neighbouring
countries, investors believe there is potential to find large
deposits in the country.
According to the government, Cambodia is one of the most
under-explored countries in the world for mineral resources.
The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy says, copper, gold, iron
ore, zinc, lead, tin, bauxite, sapphires, rubies, kaolin and
limestone are among the untapped resources in Cambodia.
